Topic: INDRA's Studio Equipment

As a result of a long waited wish from the fans' part, here is the gear list of INDRA's recording studio. Sorry for the delay in releasing it on the site, INDRA was not available for very long periods of time so that it was practically impossible for me to persuade him for writing down the names of the synths. However, when I succeeded I was very happy even I don't know anything of their meaning! Hope you'll enjoy it smile !
INDRA promissed to update the list whenever it's needed!

Re: INDRA's Studio Equipment

Pals! The equipment is very impressive but I really don't understand your strange silence! 'cause many of us wanted to know about INDRA's technical equipment and here it is and nobody's saying a word about it! I don't know anything of this stuff but I would like to read something from you in this respect.

Re: INDRA's Studio Equipment

tell me please more about Waldorf Blofeld [and to make it clear: it's about the desktop one, right?!]. I heard that it have some bugs and some times becomes inoperable and you cannot save your patch or the display is shutting down etc etc. Is it true? I read to many reviews about it and I really don't know the truth. So, I will trust you wink. I want to buy one or I have to choose between Alesis Micron and Evoler DSI. Thanks!

Re: INDRA's Studio Equipment

We passed your questions to Indra and he answered that he never had any such problem with the Waldorf Blofeld device. He said that although it's a quite small piece of synth, still is intuitive and easy to navigate through it. That he makes the sound directly and then records it without any saving of the new patches. All in all it seems that it's a good piece of work and maybe deserves to have it as your own. Good luck!

Re: INDRA's Studio Equipment

thank you and thanks Indra for his answer! You said that "he makes the sound directly and then records it without any saving of the new patches". My question is: if you are not saving the patch into Blofeld, how are you performing that specific sound, live? thank you!

Re: INDRA's Studio Equipment

To albaecstasy: He answered amused that very rarely plays tracks from his albums in live performances and even then he uses but a few sequences, the rest being performed locco. So it seems he doesn't need to save old patches for live shows. And also that some basic sequencers are normally preprogrammed and prerecorded just to get the sync of the track. We asked if he has some idea of the songs he's gonna play in concerts and he said a definitely YES but that the way in which he performs on stage is a mistery for himself too as this is somehow his  inspirational moment.

Re: INDRA's Studio Equipment

I'm glad that I've made Indra to laugh! Thanks for your answers!
